Farhad Imam is the Director of Health and Life Sciences at Gates Ventures. Previously he was a Program Officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, particularly focused on identifying diagnostics, devices, and therapeutics to improve maternal, newborn, and child health. He gained his MD and PhD at Stanford University, moving to Harvard University to be a resident, followed by a clinical fellowship.
